Today Barbe took me to Crown & Crumpet, a beautiful tea house that opened up in Ghiradelli Square, as a birthday treat. It's a beautiful place, filled with Cath Kidston prints and is bright, cheery, and modern. We got the tea for two option from the menu and it was filled with lots of goodies. Since I have a mean sweet tooth, my favorite part is always the dessert! The crumpets and sandwiches were also yummy. They also have their own branded dishes, which I thought was really cute.
And the teacup saucers have little quotes on them! (Sorry it's a bit blurry)
Barbe gave me a necklace she made
And this pretty picture
And of course, I bought a couple of things for myself from the shop
A little teacup and plate set!
We also got to chat with the co-owner, Amy, who is super sweet and attended Kim Caldwell's last event down in LA (Marie Antoinette) and gave me some good tips on what to expect next weekend.
After we left, we wandered around the area bit because both of us rarely ever go to Ghiradelli Square/Fisherman's Wharf area. We got a bit lost, but it was a fun day. Thanks Barbe! Now I am off to finish up the little presents I am taking with me to the workshop next weekend. It's taking a bit longer than I expected!
