I got my second prize from the One World One Heart event today. It's a beautiful mosaic heart from Stacy Alexander! I was so excited when I opened the box. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be and has pieces of mirrored glass as well. Thanks so much, Stacy!
I also got some very cool magazines over the past couple of days.
I've been on a bit of an anglophile kick lately, probably because I've been watching Life on Mars, the Vicar of Dibley and the latest series of the Mighty Boosh nonstop! I saw on the BBC website that there's a spin off of Life on Mars that takes place in the 80s, but I don't know if it's as good as the original series. I got the NME and Mojo because I sort of fell out of love with music awhile ago and I've been wanting to get back into it and find something that really moves me again, the way that it used to. Maybe I can find something to get me excited about going to shows and things again. And the Mojo came with a cd, so that was a bonus. I got the Archaelogy magazine because I'm a geek and I like things about ancient Egypt. Magazines are just fun, but I definitely spend a little bit too much money on them!
I've been sort of m.i.a. lately because I've had a bit of the blues. It's been a hard past couple of months, but February has been grueling and I can't wait until Saturday when March begins. Plus, it's my birthday next week and I'll be taking some time off to rejuvenate and get out of this silly funk that I have been in. Hopefully I can get it together starting this weekend to start making things again and listing them on my website. I'm way behind in adding things to my shop. Somehow I feel there's never enough time in the day, but I also know one of my biggest enemies is procrastination and a lot of it is my fault. I'm working on trying to be better in the time management area, but it's a long process. Hopefully, I will have some new items for you in the next couple of days!
